Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely not. You have the right to choose your repair shop in Michigan.
No, Michigan law requires only one estimate.
Do I have to accept alternative or aftermarket parts?
Woodland Auto Body recommends the use of original equipment manufactured (OEM) parts as they are guaranteed to fit and function properly. However, your insurance coverage may require alternative / aftermarket parts. If you are making an insurance claim, we highly recommend that you talk to your insurance provider to understand your coverage. An endorsement is available to insure you get OEM parts every time.
We repair all vehicles to pre-accident condition according to manufacturer’s specifications. Woodland Auto Body is a licensed repair facility certified by the Michigan Bureau of Automotive Regulations to perform structural and cosmetic repairs on unibody vehicles including import and domestic cars, trucks and vans.
Recognizing the importance of paint quality and appearance, we use paint from AkzoNobel. The Sikkens line provides an award winning finish and color matching technologies to minimize color variation. Our certified technicians have over 55 years of experience and are dedicated to an undetectable repair.
How long will repairs take?
It will depend on the amount of damage to your vehicle. With our initial estimate, we can provide an approximate repair time. However, the most accurate estimate cannot be done until the vehicle has been torn down to uncover any hidden damage. Once we have the vehicle in our shop for repairs and do a full tear down, we must supplement all damages to insurance, wait for approval, and order any added parts. This all adds time to the initial repair time. We provide full details and communication to the customer throughout the entire process to keep you informed of any changes.
